Volume and Capacity

Volume is the amount of space occupied by a shape.

Capacity is the quantity that a container can hold.

Capacity can be measured in form of litres.

1 L = 1000 mL

1 mL = 1 cm3,

1 L = 1000 cm3.

Thus, 1 m3 = 1000000 cm3 = 1000 L.
