Indian Numeral System
We use Indian system of numeration when we count as ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousand, lakhs, ten lakhs, and crores.
In Indian system of numeration commas are inserted after hundreds digit, thousands period and so on that is, after two places from the first comma.
International system: We use International system of numeration when we count as Ones, Tens, Hundreds, Thousands, Ten Thousand, Hundred Thousand, Millions, Ten million and so on.
In international system of numeration commas are inserted after hundreds place then after every third digit from the first comma.
