A circle is a closed figure each of whose points is equidistant from a fixed point inside it. The fixed point is called the center of the circle.

The distance between the center and any point on it is called its radius.

OA,\ OB,\ OC represents a radius of the circle. 


A chord which passes through the center of the circle is called the diameter of the circle.

 \textbf{Diameter}=2\times \textbf{radius}

Half of a circle is called a semicircle.
