Mensuration

The perimeter of a figure is the value of the outer boundary of a figure. We can get the value of the perimeter of a figure by going around the figure once.

  • The perimeter of a rectangle is equal to the summation of the length and breadth of the rectangle.
  • The square of a rectangle is equal to four times the side of a square because all the sides are of equal length.
  • Area of a rectangle is the product of the length and breadth of a rectangle.
  • The area of a square is equal to the length of a side of a square times two.
  • The perimeter of a triangle is equal to the sum of the different measures of length of the triangle.
